PPE trans oil pan review with pic's and comparison
Put on a PPE deep sump trans pan on my dads HD. Here are my reviews. Heavy construction this thing weight 30lbs easy. The cooling fins on the bottom are about .5" and the inside heat fins are 1.25". The construction of the pan is well thought out. Two bungs for trans temps gauges. The drain plug is flush and has a magnet in it.

Then I installed the PPE DP. It was easy to put in and the fit and finish is top notch :thumb. I put the band clamp back on (DP to turbo exhaust) and the bolt to hold the DP in place (by the up pipe/exhaust manifold). I did leave that bolt a little loose. It made the band clamp (front pipe to DP) go on a little easier.
